JERSEY GALS! Need help about neighborhoods UPDATED with new question
What are some good neighborhoods within driving distance of Seton Hall?
TIA
ETA: What about within driving distance of Rutgers? Is it close to Seton Hall?

I live in South Orange, and about 4 miles from Seton Hall. We LOVE this area. There's Maplewood, S. Orange, W. Orange, Montclair, Milburn, Short Hills... all really nice areas.

We should be closing on a house in Millburn in the next 3 weeks.....it is a beautiful area!
All of the surrounding towns that the other girls listed are really nice too.

Like the others said - Millburn, Maplewood, Wes tOrange, South Orange... and I live in Springfield - which is a little tiny town but right between Millburn, Summit and Westfield - and it's pretty inexpensive.
Alot of us are so close!

wow! i never realized how many girls on here are from jersey! i thought i was the only one! LOL i was born in south jersey ( burlington county) but moved up to north jersey after we got married. we live in western morris county now...

I'd add in there Montclair, Wayne, Totowa, Clifton. I know cause I do it - about 20 mins. give and take from those locations!

If you mean Rutgers New Brunswick, Highland Park, Metuchen, and Bridgewater are all pretty close, all are nice towns.
If it's Rutgers Newark, I would look at South Orange, Maplewood, and Millburn.
I can't help you with Rutgers Camden, that area I don't really know.
