Bathing suit sizing
I sized up the past 2 years for bathing suits when DD was an infant. Does the same still go for when they hit the toddler sizes? If DD is just fitting into 2t now, should I go with 3t for bathing suits?

Bathing suit sizing
Yes. Dd is in swimming and 2T clothes are loose on her but 2T bathing suits are tiny especially 1 pieces. Her 3T suits fit ok.

Re: Bathing suit sizing
Depends on the kid & on the bathing suit.
I can't size up DS's swim shorts or they fall off him. His swim shirts do have be sized up (but only 1 size).
With DD, it depends on what I get her. I had to go up 2 sizes with a Disney swim suit & it still didn't fit by the end of the summer.

Bathing suit sizing
This entirely depends on the brand of the swimsuit. Some run small, some don't. My DD has always been true to size for the majority of them.

They can vary - I have found the bathing suits there are actually pretty true to size. I have two suits in the same size (her regular size), one is big but she was able to wear it last summer, the other one was huge and might not even fit this summer.

Can you buy 2 sizes & return one in the store?
I'd buy 1 size up & then 2 sizes up.
Esp if it's a 1 piece (our Minnie 1 piece was 4T for my 2 year old last year & she was complaining by the end of the year, she's average height & weight).
The larger sizes tend to be very long though.

Disney runs really small! I would size up and try on. My dd wears a 3t I got her a 4t and it's soo small. I had to Get her a regular 4/5.

Re: Bathing suit sizing
Disney swimwear for girls runs very small in the one piece for torso length. For boys it is a little better. I always size up disney swimwear.
