Bathroom sinks - practically vs look?

We are about to remodel both bathrooms.

We have tiny bathrooms (typical Levitt house).

Right now we have a sink that acts as a cabinet counter too. It's a 1 piece on top of a cabinet. I don't care for the look.

I am concidering an undermount sink with a granite counter. Again, it would be very small to fit the space.

It's approx. 20"x30".

Would I get more "space" with a granite counter? What size sink do I need? I don't want a super huge sink with a couple of inches of granite as border but I don't want a small sink that is unusable.

What did you do with yours?

we can only use a vantity that is 24"..
so we went to Lowe's and found a vanity with a undermount sink and granite top thats not white! i was so happy.. its all one piece too!
$200 for the whole thing.. i know we would have spent way more if we got it all seperate!

I think I remember seeing them on display. Like a few styles displayed?

What cabinet did you get?

I would opt for the larger counter, smaller sink.. All you really do in a bathroom sink is wash your hands, face and brush your teeth.

yes, it definitely was on display.. we went to the lowe's in Farmingdale.
i think the brand name was roth and allen or something like that..
the color was a expresso, with the white sink and dark gray almost black granite!
i love it! everything else i saw was white top.. and i didnt want that. we are doing our bathroom very cheap so thats why we picked it. but i love it anyway!
