Bathtub Refinishing-Bathtub Reglazing
Has anyone had this done, and if so, could you recommend who you used and possibly how much (FM is fine).
I was looking into getting our bathtub reglazed rather than replaced (it is a deep, old cast iron (?!) tub)
TIA

Re: Bathtub Refinishing-Bathtub Reglazing
If you do a search I know several people have had it done and liked who they used. I had it done in August and have the guy coming back this friday to re=do some areas. Hopefully he shows. It has a 7 year warranty, but it hasnt even been 7 months and parts of the grout are showing. It looked great at first....The company I used was SHADY. Glazetec in Mastic...don't use them. Most companies I called it was 300 for the tub, 600 for tub and tiles.

We used Bathtub Doctor in Bethpage. He was very good and also did our tiling. The bathroom itself isnt done yet so we havent used the tub but this is all the does. It was $395 and takes about 2-3 hours. I will say it is a very smelly procedure. We would recommend him. He was also very easy to work with.
