Bay or bow window decor

We have a large bow window with a ledge in our living room. I'm at a loss what to display. I like the idea of picture frames but people looking in would see the backs of frames and I don't like that.

What do you have?

Re: Bay or bow window decor

I don't put anything on the ledge of my bay window.
I don't like the look of it from the outside and my couch is up against it anyway so it really wouldn't be seen from inside either.

I just have nice Roman shades

Bay or bow window decor

I have house plants and a glass display that looks good from the front or the back.

Re: Bay or bow window decor

We had one years ago and it had our dogs bed in it hahahahaha he loves the sun

If I had one now, he’d still have a bed but I’d probably display whatever season / holiday it was. Fall stuff, Xmas, spring Easter / st Patty’s, etc etc.

That's what I have there (well, one of his FIVE beds) Chat Icon . When I moved into the house I was completely against him going in that spot. Well, within 5 minutes he made it "his" and now that's where he spends a good part of his day - lounging in the sun and barking at everyone who walks by Chat Icon Chat Icon

My cat enjoys sitting and laying in mine as well. Even when it's 90 degrees out and the sun is hitting that window at such an angle that it must be 110 degrees in there, she lies in there and sleeps like the dead. I can't imagine how with a fur coat, a BLACK fur coat no less, that can be comfortable but they say cats need to maintain a higher body temp than humans as they descend from desert animals so I guess that's why!

LMAO because that is exactly what it is right now. Our dog just sits guard all day at the window.

I have one in the front of the house and have a tiered try on it with a few seasonal decor items that I change out. I don’t have anything in the window in the back of my house.
