Bay Park in East Rockaway?

Has anyone ever been to the dog run at Bay Park?

We want to try it out when the weather gets warmer, but I would like to hear some feedback first.

We've never let Lilly off of her leash anywhere but my parents backyard and I'm nervous as to how she is going to react!

I used to live in East Rockaway and used to bring my Yorkie there. They have a small dog side and a big dog side but never everyone abides by the rules. My yorkie was 4 1/2 lbs and some jacka$$ brought him big dog in there and didnt stop his dog from tormenting mine. When there isnt a lot of people there its great you just have to be careful of the other dogs.
