Bay Shore area Pre- K .....
Would appreciate any recommendations. I currently enrolled my 4 year old at the YMCA. If anyone has any feedback there or anywhere else in the area I'm curious..
Also, the price - @ 670 a month for 3 days a week - is that the norm out here?!

How long is each class? Is it all day? I have my DD enrolled at South Shore Children's Center in West Islip on Sunrise Hwy. enrolled for their 3 day class, 8:30am-11:30am. It is $249 per month. They also have a 4 year old program that is 5 days or 3 days per week. South Shore Children's Center
ETA: My DD went to SSCC's Toddletime program last year and to their camp all summer long and she loved it! I am so happy with this school!

It is 3 FULL days. I believe until 4/430 and 670 a month.
I will definitly look at the schools you mentioned tomorrow!! Thank you!!!

Bay Shore Schools offers UPK which is free, but it is by lotto only. You can try calling the schools to get more info.

Ive has family members and coworkers use the YMCA for preschool and they rave about it.
Ive also heard good things about Our Lady of Lourdes.

I send my boys to Our Lady of Lourdes. They are also in PreK but I have them in 5 1/2 days. Looking at the paperwork 3 full days is $4356.00 for the school year. They break it down over 12 months so its $363 a month.
I am very happy with the school. If you have any questions please let me know.
I also heard great things about South Shore but when I called for nursery they did not have room for both of my boys..

I have four friends who send their children here, they all have nothing but great things to say about the place.
I even went to the lady's night fundraiser they had at chateau le mere...those girls can PARTY!

We have a friend whose DS goes to St. Pat's and they really love it. I don't have any personal experience with the pre-K though.
