bday cakes from BJ's?
i ordered a seasame street cake (white with choc. filling) for josh's 1st bday and it was only $20 for 48 people. isn't that really cheap? i pay around the same for a few small items in my local bakery. so i'm concerned how it will taste and look.
has anyone ordered from them? how'd they look and taste?
plz. post pics if you have any!
thanks a bunch!

Re: bday cakes from BJ's?
I just had a cake from there for DS's christening and it was delicious! I had marble with chocolate pudding. However, we did have a slight problem when we went to pick it up, first they told us they didnt have it and then the "found" it. Whatever happened, I am not sure but it turned out fine.

I went to the BJ's website after talking with Michele (LoveBeingMrsT) about her great find. The full sheet cakes do not come with filling. the 1/4 and 1/2 sheet do. Only choices are chocolate pudding or raspberry.

I have ordered many cakes from there, I think I always get the 1/2 sheet cake. We love them and people always ask what bakery did you get this from.

Always get tons of compliments on their cakes (even w/out the filling) and they do a really nice job when you get a photo image on it as well

I love BJ's cakes! We always get the 1/2 sheets with fillings. If we need a bigger cake than that we usually order two 1/2 sheets

We ordered 1/2 sheet for DS's b/day and it came out great. People loved it. You can't wrong with it.
