bday party at school - how many cupcakes should we bring?

Doing it for the first time this year, DD is Aug baby but wanted to do a school party...
There are 27 kids in her class, so how many cupcakes do you think I should bring? And I guess plates and cups and napkins?
Also do I do goody bags too ? This is all new to me , so no idea how it works.
Thanks

I'd bring 30 cupcakes and plates and napkins. I prefer juice boxes over pouring drinks into cups (much less risky! Chat Icon). Goody bags are usually not encouraged, but that does depend on the individual class.

I didn't do goody bags for my kindergartner, and a couple of the students asked where their goody bags were Chat Icon I guess most parents do them!

35. Include a few without frosting. The teachers like a table cloth (because it's messy) cups, and napkins. Goody bags... A lot of kids give them, I didn't. I throw most of that stuff out as soon as they get home so I feel it's a waste.

A minimum of 30 cupcakes, and make them all the same! Our school does not allow goody bags, so just check with the teacher first. We are required to bring in napkins, but no drinks, because the kids already have a drink with them for their snack each day (which they bring). Again, check with the teacher.
