Be careful driving.....its bad out there!
It just took 2.15 hours from Massapequa to Ridge. There are spin outs & crashes everywhere!

it's really not good out....
just drove from port washington to huntington on 25a and the roads are awful. Cars stranded on hills. not fun.

took me 40 minutes to go 8 miles when I left work at 12:15. I can only imagine it is much worse now. I saw a couple of spin-outs, all of them SUV's (some SUV drivers must think they're invincible).

My boss let us go at 1  and I love him for that. My DH just got home and it took him about 45 minutes to go 4 miles.

DH is actually pushing me to go to Wal-mart because he needs new slippers!

he needs slippes NOW? tell him to put on 2 or 3 pairs of socks, same effect

Driving home was not fun. The roads are really slick. The director of the preschool I work at let us out right after all the kids left, which was nice. It is raining by me now, but I can't imagine what it is going to be like once it all freezes over again tonight. I was supposed to meet DH in the city to go out with his work friends, but I told him there's no way. Unfortunately, whenever he gets home tonight, after going out, I have to pick him up from the train!

Uggh, DH usually takes 25A from Bayside to Oyster bay and he hasnt left yet!

I made decent time from Garden City to Bayside - 30 minutes- at 5pm- which isn't bad (I normally leave at 7 or 8pm)
but bayside has not been plowed at all- not even once- the roads were bad-
I was driving very slow-

Dh bought me into work today, It took us from stonybrook to rockypoint about 1 1/2 hours which would normally be a 20 minute drive. We also stopped at colseos for pizza on the way home.
