I used them once for a blow out. The girl did a pretty good job..how bad can you mess up a blow out right? Chat Icon

no, but that would be the same answer for me if you asked about a lot of places.

Its easy to ruin someones hair ie: leave color on too long, or use wrong color.

Its not so easy to do it right. I use someone who came highly reccomened and I saw her hair after it was just done.

I don't think it would be worth the risk just to save a few bucks, b/c in the end you might be spending much more to have it corrected and the stress is so not worth it for me.

otherwise, i know a place in Huntington on JEricho where hilights are 60-85 and they are decent

NEVER!
I took my 6 yr old there for a haircut .... a VERY simple trim and they butchered it...
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
