Beach At End Of Nichols Road In Stony Brook?
Does anyone know what the beach is called there? Apparently it has sprinklers or something for the kids? Someone mentioned it to me, but no one knows the same. TIA

I don't think there is a beach at the end of Nichols Road. Route 25 is there?

I think it's West Meadow Beach. Take 25A to Quaker Path and take Quaker Path a couple miles up. You will see signs for the beach, just before you get in the town of Old Field.
ETA: I think you need to be a Brookhaven resident. You may want to check Brookhaven.org before going.

Yes, it is definitely West Meadow Beach. They have a whole sprinkler area for the kids to play in and some swings. It is very cute.

No, I don't think they have one. I usually go in the evening. But I do know the ice cream man is always there! You will pass 7-11, a good pizza place a deli and a really good sandwich place right on 25A there though. HTH!

West Meadow Beach.
At the end of Nichols Road, make a left on 25A.
Turn right onto Quaker Path. When the road splits stay to the left. The road will change to mount gray road. Then, turn left on West Meadow Beach Rd. You will see a sign for West MEadow Beach there.
Dh and I go there all the time.
