Beaches that allow dogs
My sister would love to take her dog to the beach. Are there any in Nassau or Suffolk that she can take her dog? I thought there was post a few weeks ago.

eta: She would like to know if the dog likes sand.

I like Gardiners Park in Bay Shore, they have trails & access to the beach (great south bay). My dog loves it there.

most of the Hamptons beaches in Southampton Town (which includes several towns) are dog friendly during off season...some will allow dogs in summmer after a certain time like 6pm...some allow no dogs during summer...just have to check posted signs.
