I need to start a hair routine and figured this might be an easy way for me to get out of my pony tail phase.

I just tried it. I thought it worked really well and the waves stayed all day. I didn't like how the waves looked on me though, a little more too crimpy than wavy for me.

I have it. It works well, but like PP said it's gives you more of a crimped look than waves (kinda like when you braid your hair). I like how it looks on me, but it takes forever to do. I usually do it before I go to bed and then freshen it up a bit before I leave for work. Straightening and/or curling my hair takes A LOT less time.
