How do you prevent bed head?
I wash my hair every other day and blowdry/straighten only then but after I sleep on it, I wake up and my hair that was nice and straight is now a big wavy mess. How do you get it to stay at night? I saw some people mentioned "wrapping" it but I have no idea what this means. Please help!

Re: How do you prevent bed head?
I do my own version of wrapping. I take those alligator clips, those aluminum ones that you section your hair with.
I smooth my hair down and place one behind either ear.
then I part my hair and pull the right section over to the left and clip it and then pull the left section to the right and clip it.
If I'm REALLY ambitious, I put a silk scarf on. But then I'm really scaring the DH.
But worse case scenario is I have to flat iron a few pieces. Otherwise, I unclip and shake.

Re: How do you prevent bed head?
I bought a silk wrap for this very reason. I was practicing using it in the mirror. . . DH asked me if I was also planning on wearing a green face mask to bed. . . soooo never actually used it but I heard it works wonders!

I just go over it lightly with the flat iron in the morning.

You slip with those clips in? How?? I can't even sleep with my hair tied back in a loose ponytail.

Yeah. If I put them in a certain way, I don't even feel them. What I mean is I will reverse the direction of the opening so the pinchy part is not by the base of my head but rather the crown area. Does that make any sense?

Try tying it in a loose, low ponytail before going to bed.

Re: How do you prevent bed head?
I bought an InStyler last year. I wash my hair at night, go to bed with it wet, or just let it air dry, and use the InStyler in the a.m. My hair is done in less than 10 minutes.

My hair dresser recommended this, it works pretty well.
