Bed times for school aged kids
Just curious what the typical bedtime is?
My son is in 2nd grade.. he goes to bed at 8pm, wakes up at 6:50am
(all 3 of my kids go to bed at 8pm)

8pm is our bedtime too for all 3 kids. My DS is in first grade. Glad I'm not the only one.

Re: Bed times for school aged kids
My son is 4 and he will be in bed by 9 (we were very lenient this summer). When he's in pre-k, he gets up at 8 a.m. and he has to be at school by 9 (it's literally around the corner). He still naps every afternoon , but once he gives up his nap, he will be in bed by 8-8:30.

Re: Bed times for school aged kids
The twins go to bed at 9:30...our elementary schools start pretty late though. Last year they didnt start school until 9:35. This year they start at 9:05.
My older daughter is 14 and usually goes to bed around 10. But if she is up until 11 I dont yell...(things will be changing this year though b/c she has to be up earlier)

Re: Bed times for school aged kids
We start wrapping it up and winding down at 7. By 7:45 we are doing family cuddle and by 8pm they are in their own beds. That's the ideal... sometimes they don't make it to bed until 8:30 though.
