Bedding and curtain help needed!
I've been looking around for bedding and curtains and I am just clueless. I was looking at the bedding sets and they are just too expensive. Can anyone help me with an alternative to bedding sets? I can't seem to find any for under $100. I know most people spend more than that, we just can't right now. I'm really just trying to make it look nice for potential home buyers. Also, I need curtains in my bedroom and the sliding glass doors in the dining room. Any thoughts on those? They're expensive too. I can't decorate my home for the life of me. Thanks!

Have you tried Kohl's, Marshall's, and Home Goods? I don't like to buy bedding online (I need to touch it -- I'm very picky) but you could also look at domestications.com and overstock.com

Re: Bedding and curtain help needed!
You could try Bed, Bath and Beyond ( I think you live in NC, right? Is there one by you?) I bought a 20 piece bed in a bag for $199 when I was trying to sell my house. It is really pretty and good quality. The set comes with 4 valances which at first I was hesitant to put up without a curtain but it actually looks neater. I have a 20% off coupon I could send you if their is one near you. With that coupon I think my total was $175.

Re: Bedding and curtain help needed!
I would def. check out BBB online. They have some clearance stuff right now. Maybe a Walmart or Target is by you. Maybe some sort of bed in a bag deal. I know at BBB you can get bed in a bag for under $100. But I would check out a Walmart or Target or Kmart, whatever is by you. And as for curtains, you can just get shears. Sometimes you can find curtains a the big dollar stores. Or maybe the dollar store would have beige panels and that might be cheap. Do you have a Big Lots by you? They have good prices. When selling a house, you want it to look nice, but not break the bank. Clean lines and neutral. GL!
Oh want about JCP.com too. Look for clearance stuff.

Walmart Comes with comforter, shams and bedskirt. Maybe one of the solid colors would work for your home.
Kids bedding
Inexpensive Curtains
Hope these help in some way.

Re: Bedding and curtain help needed!
If you only want something to look good while the house is being shown maybe you could work with what you have and save some money.
My mom helped my brother when he was selling his condo. He thought he needed to buy all new bedding to neaten it up. Instead my mom flipped the comforter over. The top had a design on it the other side was cream and plain. She then bought some pretty pillow cases in Marshalls and a few throw pillows. When you work with neutrals any color bed skirt will work and you could get some inexpensive sheers from the bargain bin at Marburn Curtain.
