Re: bedrooms on the second floor?

We have a 3 level townhome with the bedrooms on the third level, the kitchen and dining room on the main level and the playroom in the lowest level.

We are up and down the stairs all day. It's great exercise though.Chat Icon

Re: bedrooms on the second floor?

Our bedrooms are on the second floor. I do go up and down quite a bit, but like the PP said, it's good exercise! The one thing I did do was bring down diapers and wipes so I wasn't going up and down the stairs too much Chat Icon .

Re: bedrooms on the second floor?

I didn't really go up and down much until my DD started going up in her bedroom to play/torture the cats. She never really hung out there, but now she does. It's not so bad though because she comes up and down on her own at 2 1/2.

I have diapers up and down and change them downstairs all the time, and their play room is down here as well.

Re: bedrooms on the second floor?

My DD is on the 2nd floor. She is 7 though and at an age where she can get her clothes on her own. Plus with me 27 weeks prgenant, I try to limit the amount of stairs. I do go up and down when I have to clean and do laundry though.

All our bedrooms are on the second floor. We usually bring DD down in the morning and she doesn't go back upstair unless it is bath or bedtime and sometimes she'll nap in her crib. All her toys are in the den and I usually bring clothes down to change her.

same here. Their bedrooms don't have any toys. Everything is downstairs. We get ready upstairs for the day then come down and eat breakfast and then we are downstairs until bedtime.

All of our bedrooms are upstairs and bathrooms too.
I just bring down DS' clothes and "stuff for the day".
Our den is filled with all of his toys. The only times he goes back up are for nap, bath, and bed. Once we start potty training, he'll be going up a lot more.
I plan on doing the same for DD when she gets home. Just bring everything down and get them ready.
I have a pack n play down here that if I need to run up for something, I put DS in there with some books for the 2 mins. I'm upstairs.

Re: bedrooms on the second floor?

We come down in the morning before breakfast.

Go back up after to get dressed for the day.

Go up again before naptime.

Then before bedtime.

I am usually up there a few more times doing things but those are the only times he is up there.
