Beer
I tried a beer called Purple Haze at a beer garden and it was amazing. Raspberry flavored. What beers do you like that are different? Traders has a Blood Orange Ale that is also really good, esp in the summer :)

These are cherry beers that you can get at a good beer distributor.
Sometimes TJs has the framboise.
If I'm just stopping at 7-11 and want a cherry beer, I'll get Sam Cherry Wheat.

I like purple haze but these two raspberry beers are WAY WAY better!!!
Rubaeus (Raspberry Ale) by Founders -- literally the best beer I have ever drank!
Framboise Lambic
There is also Blue Point Blueberry!

Don't know where you are but there is an awesome beer distributor in Bellport. It's like the Target version of a beer distributor. I go in for 1 thing and come out with $100 worth of goods!

If you are looking for something closer to home, my DH likes to go to South Bay Beverages in Massapequa. He is into all different types of craft beer and they seem to have a good selection.

Best summer beer that's got interesting flavor is made by hookers ... Watermelon ale
It's hard to find around LI even though it's a CT made beer but worth a good search

I had a ginger beer (alcohol version) when I was in Australia. They don;t have many here in the states but I was able to find a British version in bottles. Still looking for it on tap.

If you like purple haze you're probably like Shock Top - they do orange, rasberry, apple, pumpkin (although i'm not a fan of the pumpkin)

I usually don't like flavored beers, and I hate anything watermelon flavored.
HOWEVER, I recently had 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon and it was DELICIOUS.

I recently went to a craft beer festival and tried a beer called Kombrewcha- it's brewed from tea. And it was amazing. Definitely my favorite of the night. They have a bunch of different flavors, but I liked the original best.

The beer distributer on Newbridge Road in North Bellmore has a good beer selection. Purple Haze and Cherry Wheat are my favorites, but I'm going to have to try those other two raspberry ones.

My friend raves about Well's Banana Bread Beer. It's probably a zillion calories, but it's probably worth it! I can't wait to try it! I see on the website that they carry it at some local bars and they carry it at the beer distributor in Wantagh.

This! Tried it at a bar and bought a 12-pack the next day. Such a yummy summer beer choice.
