Beginning Pregnancy and Possible Urinerary Tract Infection Advice Needed

I am 6 weeks pregnant today.

Ever since last night, when I urinate (sorry for TMI) I feel a sensation in my uterus similiar to what I think could be the beginnings of a urinary tract infection. No burning or anything just a weird feeling and it's making me feel like I have to go more. Is this common in early pregnancy?

UTI's are very common in pregnancy especially the beginning I had one @ 8 weeks but you need to call the doc b/c if you do have one and leave it ,it can turn into a kidney infection and its not safe for the baby. Good luck and I hope all is well

i have had the same thing for a week or so now and i got tested, it's not a UTI, just another joy of pregnancy. it doesn't hurt to call your doc though, and UTI are easily treated with antibiotics.

they are common in pregnancy. Def call your doc

They are common. I had one in the beginning and didn't know it. They only caught it because it showed up on the initial urine sample the doctor's office took.
