Behr Paint
We usually use BM paint, but we may be trying to sell our house and with today's market I am trying to save $ where I can to make it ready to show.
I know some of have used Behr Paint. Can anyone recommend a nice bright neutral color for a formal LR and Foyer? PICS would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Re: Behr Paint
we used it in our basement & it wasn't bad. I used a red behr in my townhouse & it was a pain because it needed so many coats,. Our basement is called "mocha" something...sorry thats not much help but its a nice warm beige.

That was my problem with Behr's paint. SO MANY coats!!! It ended up being almost the same price as more expensive paint.
I won't get Behr's anymore.

FH taught me a trick -
if you are priming, mix some of the paint with the primer - so your primer is now tinted with your paint color. then you'll only need one coat of full color!

Re: Behr Paint
Also, if you love BM colors and know of one you like - you can have HD make that same color in Behr paint. We had them do that for our LR & MBR.

Same here...DH and I decided to surprise my mom while she was away by painting her house (pretty much every room, she's getting ready to sell). We bought Behr's thinking it would save us cash. I wish we would have just gotten the Benjamin Moore, as it came out to roughly the same price AND it would have taken half the time!
