Being asked if you were preggo after you had the baby
Now, I am the first to admit that I still have a pouch. I was at a surprise party today and I got two comments that made me want to kill myself.
Both from people I haven't seen in years:
First one - "Are you having another baby already????" ---- NO JACKAZZ - I just had the kid 7 weeks ago - and he was 10 freaking pounds....and I had a csection so I could barely walk around my house - I'm sorry I did not lose all of the baby weight yet.
Second one - "When are you due" --- OK JACKAZZ - Do you see that 15lb 7week old in the stroller in the corner - that's mine!!! I AM NO LONGER PREGNANT.
I HATE PEOPLE!

Seriously!!! Were they women? I hope they never had kids and said that because they are clueless.
I lost all my pregnancy weight and still have my little belly pouch at 8 weeks. You don't have a flat belly (well, most women!!!) after you give birth.... DUH!!!
It is shrinking a little bit every week. It takes time people... Morons!!!!

If it helps (and it probably doesn't since you already hate me ), people who didn't know me used to think I was the nanny because I lost so much weight.
I think you look great for 7 weeks!

That is just wrong
I feel like people are going to say that to be cause I have a huge pouch still and I am overweight -- but I think I have a big chance of people saying it - cause I look like that and my DD is 14 months

People are idiots
Tell them it's been more difficult than you thought because your plastic surgeon, personnel trainer and nutritionist/chef that you picked out have all been unavailable Oh, and the nanny that will watch DS while you undergo all of the "treatments" isn't available either.
I think there is this unrealistic expectation when you see famous women who have babies, a month later they are making public appearances and are thinner than ever.
Marcia Cross and I both had twins only days apart. Gee, wanna guess who looks better? I think she had a little "help"

People can be so stupid! Women, especially should know to never ask!
Another new mom asked me if I was "going to be having my baby here" when I was peeking in at my DD in the nursery in the hospital (I guess the slippers and robe I was wearing didn't quite give it away)

maybe this will make you feel better. A few days after I had my daughter some friends came to visit.
One of the guys said to my DH while touching my stomach " Hey 'M' Did you know there is another baby in there waiting to come out"
I wanted to DIE!!! He is pretty lucky with all the hormones in my body that I didn't take his head off. It took every muscle in my body to hold myself back from crying hysterically.

I swear it's stuff like this that makes me think praying mantids have it right. Bite their head off after you've mated. People are stupid.

What there really trying to say is "WOW, I can't believe you didn't loose the baby weight yet".....
I got those comments too after I had Julia, I would love to see them go right back to the gym after a c-section.....

Wow people suck. This actually happened to me yesterday too. DH & I went out WITH THE BABY, and someone in the park asked when I was due I was like May 22nd (DS b-day) thinking they'd get the hint, & they were like, "wow you are showing really early!" I thought DH was going to slap her. People are so stupid.

I blame it on celebs that go into hiding and workout 5 hours a day & miraculously re-appear a size 2. It gives people an unrealistic expectation of what to look like after PG.....

complete morons, pay no attention to these idiots if that's possible. Some people just don't get it....
It took all of us 9+ months to gain the weight why don't they give us all some time to enjoy our babies and worry about taking the weight off when we get a chance....as though that should be our 1st priority
