Bella Band- Would you purchase one at 30wks?
I never got one and most of my pants are ones that button and expand on waist opposed to the ones with band.
So the ones that button are getting tight and uncomfortable around belly.
if you read my post yesterday, I dont want to buy more maternity clothes for the 9/10wks I have left. Unless NECCESSARY!

The pants that you are wearing now - with the buttons - they are maternity pants? If so then I would say the bella band would be a good investment because it will stretch out your time with the current pants plus you can use it after the pregnancy as your tummy goes back down.
If the pants are regular pants - you might want to consider one or two pairs of maternity pants because they accommodate the belly better. My regular pants no longer get up past my groin area - regardless of having a bella band they just don't work for me right now.

Yea Ang...they are maternity that stretch with your belly but even that isnt enough, ya know?
Like Im wearing jeans like that now and if I considered going the next size up, they would be swimming on me...so I stick with these.
I think I might because the button is getting embedded on my belly!

Then I definitely suggest the bella band because the next size will be too big and you won't wear them - or you would need the band anyway. As long as the pants button in the front and let you open them - the bella band will be a big help.
Most of my maternity pants only have the button inside that lets them come out - so I guess I should think about looking at bigger sizes when the time comes or being smart like you and getting buttons.

I just started looking into them, I think I am ordering one this weekend. On all the websites it says they are good for after delivery too.

I don't have the Bella Band, I have the one they sell at Motherhood that is like $15.00. I'm 30 weeks and it's working out great because my belly is getting so big that my pants are starting to fall down to my hips (if that makes sense!).

Re: Bella Band- Would you purchase one at 30wks?
I posted this in another thread but I'll say it again. I "made" my own bella band. I took a tight tank top, cut off the shoulder straps (so it's now like a tube top) & i just pull it down to cover the top of my jeans. Woorks for me so far.
I guess you could also use a regular tube top but the one I had was a little too loose & didn't keep my jeans smooth.
Maybe you can try that before you buy anything new.

I would get one! I have one pair of maternity pants that buttons up with the elastic waistband....OUCH! They hurt after a day! I never thought of wearing the band with them though!!

I just bought one so I am ready for when my pants stop fitting. The little guide that comes with it is says you can wear it all the way through your pregnancy. I would try one and if you dont like it, return it.

That's so funny. I was just thinking today (at 29 weeks) that I should get a new one.
I even used it as a "belt" after my DD was born to hold up loose pants. It smooths things out better than a real belt!
Go for it!
