Belly Band of Maternity clothes?

i'm still early 11w2d and all my clothes still fit fine but i was wondering what you girls did first. did you invest in a belly band for your pants or did you buy maternity pants right away?
did you buy it before you needed it in case one day you just wokr up and nothing fit?

I wore the Be Band from about 11-15 weeks, and then I started wearing the maternity pants. They were just more comfortable and easier to wear. But the Be Band really came in handy before I fit well into the maternity pants!

I bought both....the band to wear with my regular jeans and some maternity jeans too. I felt that the maternity jeans were more comfy to be honest, but the band is gonna be my best friend after the baby comes while I'm getting back to my pre-peggers size.

I had a lot of bloat early on so I bought the Be-band from target and that lasted me a while before I had to buy maternity pants.

I bought the pants first, but a belly band in between. For me the band only works on some pants.

I bought the be band and started using it right around Thanksgiving with my jeans. I'm only 12 weeks now and even though I can close my jeans with some effort, it's way too uncomfortable. I've been using the band whenever I wear pants, but like a PP said, it's only comfortable with some pants. In the meantime, I went out and bought a couple of pairs of maternity pants and ordered 1 pair of maternity jeans, bc I have a feeling I won't make it through the holidays with the band. Let me tell you - those maternity pants are a DREAM. I felt so liberated and free wearing them

I have the Be Band, but I'm still using safety pins and rubber bands. I also have these button extender things that add a bit more room.

Before you run off, try the little tricks first to see if that buys you some time.

I used the bella band to around 12 weeks. Honestly maternity jeans are so much more comfortable. I switched right away! they are amazing!!!!

I bought the Bella Band around 12 weeks but still haven't used it at 16 weeks, my regular pants still fit. I occasionally throw on maternity jeans but just because they are so comfy.

I would get the Bella Band first. I have tons of maternity pants from a friend but they're way too big at this point.

I never wore the bella band. I went straight to maternity pants at around 13 1/2 weeks. I have mostly low waist maternity pants. They are really comfy.

in hindsight buying the band was a waste for me. I used it once and it was annoying and life was much nicer once i put on maternity pants. If you are using the band i would definitely buy a pair of pants to have on standby because i went from clothes fitting to not fitting in less than a week and ended up with almost nothing to wear

I bought the BE Band but i was in maternity pants at 7 weeks

Both.... I got the one from Target and wore that for a few months until it was annoying (rolls up or down) at a certain point. I then went to the maternity pants and they are comfy!

I was extremely bloated early on (I'm 12w now) so I kindof went in stages.

I started with the rubber band trick a few weeks ago and then last week I bought the belly band, which I've been using and I really like it. My pants still fit except I just can't button them.

I did buy some maternity pants (b/c there was a really good sale) and even though they fit (they are the low demi panel), I don't need them yet.

So, I'm prepared for whatever happens.
