Mid Belly vs Full Panel maternity pants
Just wondering what others prefer especially the further along you are....I have been wearing mid belly pretty much my entire pregnancy & I am trying to order some capris from Motherhood for the summer. Wondering if I will want more support as time goes on..
Please help

I liked the mid-belly for the first 2 trimesters; I'm now at 34 weeks & pretty much only wear the full panel. The mid tend to roll back down & annoy me.

Low rise and mid-belly start to hurt/roll/flap over as I've gotten bigger so full panel from now on for me (I'm 23 weeks).

I like the full belly panal. I have tried the mid belly ones and they hurt me after a while and don't look as smooth with clothes on as the full belly does. It's just more comfortable.

I agree, my mid belly pants hurt after a while in the bottom of my belly, specially when I'm sitting down, however I think the full panel will be uncomfortable as well if they are not the right size, and are tight or causing pressure to the belly.

Same here - I have a few pairs of mid or under bump, but I've preferred the full panel since the beginning.

I like full coverage as well. Even in my undies!  Not only for the comfort but some how that thin layer of cotton/lycra gives me a mental satisfaction of a coat of protective armor!!!

Same here, I have mid belly jeans that when I wear them on Fridays to work, I make sure my shirt is extra long so I can roll them under my belly for comfort!

I found he full panel to be way more comfortable. Once your belly gets big the last thing you want is a band digging into it.

Definitely full panel. I still roll some of the full panel pants down in half, but they are so much more comfy to me.

Full panel! I got all low rise & mid panel with my first pregnancy & by the 8th month I regretted it. They rolled down my back & didn't fit comfortably on my belly anymore at all. This time I got only full panel & at 40 weeks they still fit perfectly.

i dunno if it's just me but the mid belly makes me look like i have 2 stomachs. i look fat, not pregnant so i hate that thing!! i love the full panel but one of my jeans, i guess isn't the right size because i'm constantly picking up my pants and full panel.

I can't stand the mid belly/low rise maternity pants. Full panel is the only way to go IMO. Good luck finding them in stores, I had a hard time.

I had to start wearing full panel at about 14 wks....I had the mid panel and it kept rolling down. Full panel is soooo much more comfortable and it smooths me out.

I prefered the mid panel until a few weeks ago. Now they KILL!! They roll down and with the tightness of the jeans under the belly.. the midpanel all rolled up is too much!
The only thing that doesn strangle my belly is the fully panel. I honestly think the mid or demi's stimulates braxton and hicks for me too. JMO.
And the midwife was checking out my belly and said the mid panel ones I was wearing were too tight. She didn't like how they hugged the bottom of my belly.. even though they fit the way they were supposed to. She said to wear them to work but, to come home and change into something more comfy. She also said the ones that were so tight wouldn't help the fact that the baby was breach.

Now at 30 weeks the mid belly and low rise ones kill me and this LO likes to kick at where they end, so it's full panel all the way for me now.
