belly bandit, spanx, or any other girdle type item for after the birth....

Does anyone plan to use anything like spanx, or the belly bandit after giving birth to help things get back to normal? If so, when do you plan on starting to wear it? As soon as you leave the hospital?

I would love to use one of these. I'm going to ask my doctor about it on monday.

Ideally, I'd like to start the day after I give birth. From what I read, they say you can wear it the day following either a vaginal or c-section birth.

Even if it doesn't work to help shrink back my belly faster at least it'll make me feel better by making my belly a bit smaller.

What Spandex thing? did you get it from your DR??? is this like a Belly Bandit?? do these work???

I wore Spanx. Not to help things go back into place but to fit into my pp clothes sooner

I wear maternity spanx now, not every day but when needed. I also plan on buying the belly bandit for right after I give birth.

I bought the postpartum support belt and that seemed to help me.
