belly lotions and creams?
I stopped into destination maternity a week ago to pick up maternity tights, and the SA, while helpful, started pushing their other products too. My OB said it's more genetics that determines stretch marks although the creams can make your skin feel nice.
If you put lotion on your belly, when did you start and what do you use? Does it actually do anything?

Re: belly lotions and creams?
Genetics definitely play a big role.... but I have been using "Vaseline Deep Conditioning Body Lotion with Cocoa Butter & Vitamin E" every morning. after showers, and whenever I feel like I should put some on... and every night I use Burt's Bees "Mama Bee, Belly Balm" its awesome stuff...I have my husband rub it on every night. I'm 38 weeks on Sunday and so far so goood!!

i use cocoa butter in a gel oil form from cvs. any product that helps with skin elasticity can't hurt.
