Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel Join Boy Meets World Spin-Off Pilot
Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have officially signed on for the Girl Meets World Disney Channel pilot, TVLine reports.
The possible spin-off series, which was first reported earlier this month, would follow Riley, the 13-year-old daughter of the happily married Cory and Topanga (Savage, Fishel).
Boy Meets World creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs is helping develop the pilot, which is still in the early stages of development.
Now that Riley's mom and dad have joined the project, the question is whether there will be parts for Uncle Eric (Will Friedle), honorary "Uncle" Shawn (Rider Strong) or anyone else from the original series (paging Mr. Feeny!).

I am excited for the show, because I love Boy Meets World! However, I'm a little nervous because it can be really bad.

My dad did when I was young and I always was like EEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the only kiddie show he would watch with me. G-ross.

i had to look i up bec I was curious...in May it will be 13 yrs since it aired..and in real life they are 32 and 31..so it is totally possible for them to have a 13 yr old!

I'm really excited for this! I hope they don't gear it to kids since adults would be the ones more interested in it. I wish they were having a baby though, not a 13 year old. For some reason that just seems like a stretch, especially since there are still episodes of them on TV being 13 years old lol.

I too am very excited for this show, but it feels odd that they chose a 31/32 year old to have a 13 year old child. If you said they had an 8 year old I would find it much more believable or on the flip side make their characters slightly older to accommodate an older DC.
