I went to the Patchogue location over the weekend. I'm not an avid waxer to being with, haven't gone in probably over a year.... I wasn't overly impressed. I think they look good but I'm not sure they look any better than when I get them waxed at hair salon. In addition the top of my eyebrows are still RED 2 days later. Like to the point that the woman I work with asked why my face was red. Most likely won't be going back...
Do you use any skin care products with retinols in it? That can cause problems with waxing.

It's hard to explain. I stopped waxing a while ago and now only have my eyebrows threaded. I wouldn't say it is painful but it is a strange sensation. If anything, I find the thread to be more of an irritating feeling as it rubs across your skin. Takes some getting used to but I absolutely LOVE the way my eyebrows look now with the threading.

Anyone been to the Soho location? I'm intrigued and want to try this. Right now I'm a threader but I feel like I need some shape to my brows.

It's different...the first time it hurt like a Mofo but after that it got better. I prefer threading to waxing...IMO it hurts less.

So I just found out that Lisa is no longer at the Huntington Ulta. Does anyone know where she went to? She was fabulous.
