Benefit/fundraiser for my cousin's 2 year old son
Hey guys - this is for my cousin's 2 year old son. My cousin is my daughter's godfather. Here's the link to the Facebook page:

And here is his story:
Anthony Eugene is a very determined 2 year old full of life and personality. He has proven to be a fighter and he is a champ in everyone’s eyes. His parents Stephanie and PJ and his older brother James consider him the MVP on their team!
Several months ago, after a string of emergency visits, Anthony was admitted to the ICU with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and spent the next three weeks in the hospital so doctors could stablize his breathing and focus on his various ailments. Severe pain in his knee lead to several tests and surgical biopsies and after several cancer scares, it was determined he has Osteomylitis, a severe bone infection that effects bone marrow and requires the use of a catheterized IV line to treat over time.
During this hospital stay, doctors also discovered that Anthony is anemic and suffers from a rare form of neutropenia, a blood disorder that affects the white blood cells needed to fight infections which also requires treatments over time. In addition to these ailments, when he was 18 months Anthony was also diagnosed with 'Pervasive Developmental Disorder—Not Otherwise Specified' (PDD-NOS), an autism-spectrum disorder which requires therapy five days a week, up to three times a day.
Anthony has already been through more than most people have in their lives, and his battle is far from over. Each of his ailments comes with their own series of tests, surgeries, medications, and therapies that will continue for years to come. He also continues to be hospitalized regularly due to complications from these ailments and from additional issues that have not yet been diagnosed.
We are holding a fundraiser on Saturday, June 11th 2011at Mulcahy's to benefit the Gregoretti family. For information on purchasing event tickets or if you are looking to make a donation, please contact us either by email at [email protected].
