Benji is coming home today :-)
Yesterday we took Benji to the vet in Levittown(East Village Green) and the Dr did some blood tests and also took Xrays. Benji had been throwing up and not feeling well for the past few days.
She said according to the blood tests that he may have Pancrittis and also he was having problems with his kidneys.
Benji is a 15 year old Yorkie that had a rough life before Danielle and her family rescued him. He was a stud at a puppy mill.
Right now he is in the animal hospital in westbury. He really needs your prayers.
My mother in law got the call today from the doctor saying that they don't think it looks good for him. I am going to take my mother in law to the animal hospital today to see him.

OMG, we take our pets to the Westbury animal hospital on railroad ave. they are wonderful. which Dr. is seeing Benji? OUr cat was deathly ill and came back, he was there for 2 weeks. sending you

Thats not the place. It is the center for specialized care. It came higly recommended from our vet.
My mother in law saw him today - He looked much better than yesterday....He was crying like crazy though. When the nurse put him back she came out to us to tell us that as soon as we walked out, benji stopped crying. We thought he was crying because he was in pain....But thank god it wasnt because of that

Do you know how long he needs to stay there for? I HATE leaving them in those hospitals - it breaks your heart!

The center for specialized veterinary care is a fantastic facility...they have some of the best doctors in the area & their staff is amazing & they really look after the animals in their care.

where is this place? On old country road? at the westbury animal hospital Dr. Cronin works there and at that hospital in Plainview th at is supposed to be a specialized care place too, dont know the name, thats why I thought you meant westbury animal hospital.

Update from my mother in law:
Benji has been barking, which is a good sign because he usually doesnt do that, but his kidney level still hasnt improved. They want to keep him for a few more days
