Best bottle for breast fed babies?
I need to start introducing more pumped bottles to my son. Are there any particular bottles that mimic breastfeeding betters than others?

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
I tried them all....and Tommee Tippee bottles were the only bottles my DD successfully drank from.

Crap... I just ordered the other nipple from Amazon.
Glad to hear there are a lot of fans of the Playtex Drop-ins! Those are what I'm planning on using.

My boys are using these as well. I use the silicone nipple , clear one with no problems.

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
I had luck with both Dr. Browns & Playtex drop-ins.
ETA: I read about the Playtex Drop-Ins System - Breast Milk Storage Kit on here and it was awesome! I'd definitely recommend it!

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
I think it really is trial and error. With DS 1 he like the cheap Gerber ones but with ds2 we have only used avent bottles.

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
DS adapted to every one we tried, but he liked Tommee tippiee the best. We switched between 3 different ones (medela, Avent and TT) until he was drinking more than 4 oz, then we went excursively to TT. He def. did a better job between switching between boob and bottle with the TT

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
i Bf and FF ...i had to go mostly to formula due to supply issues and when i had complications in the hospital after birth i decided to take a few days to get better before trying to BF again...ds seemed to lose interest / focus when BFing. i used the breast flow and DS regained his interest in the boob again!

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
I've only used Dr. Brown's. DD took to it pretty much immediately so we stuck with that one. I did keep her on the slow nipple until very recently (she's 7 months). I didn't want it to be too easy for her to get the milk.

Re: Best bottle for breast fed babies?
It's really trial and error....DS didn't do well with Tommee Tippee even though so many other moms swear by it. The only one he did well with was Born Free bottles.
