Best car/home insurance (Suffolk So. Shore)
Can you recommend your house/car insurance? We currently have State Farm, but our homeowners has gone up ($1400) & our 2 cars is not a great deal either. Who do you use?
We're on the South Shore too on the outskirts of flooding area so that may be an issue.
Approx. how much do u pay?

Cin.....you might have a prob, market is so tough!...
I know where you live ;), which could also mean your house/Autos could be seperate.
call SF, ask them to look at your policy and see if there is something they can do.

its tricky people are being dropped from their policies. I am buying a house and closing next month and many places are not insuring LI for the rest of the year.

Hey Deb; our street personally is not flood zone; but not sure why it went up. We were paying almost 1100 (2 yrs ago) & our car ins. went up as well.
I'll give them a call; but we may end up w/ someone else.

We have State Farm for homeowners. They were the lowest and we pay about $1200 a year. We are not in the flood zones.
We tried to lump it with our car insurance but SF gave us ridiculous quotes for our cars so we stayed with Geico. I'm getting ready to call around again for our cars.

We're on the south shore also and are paying about 1500 
We use Nationwide.. I tried to switch last year but the quotes I got were higher.
