Best DMV to get a license renewed?
Anyone know of a DMV where the line is not huge to get a licenesed renewed.
I went to the bethpage DMV recently and the line for licenses were rdiuclously long and i have not desire to wait on it at all. i think i ended up getting there around 3:30is so maybe thats why.

I think you can renew online now as well, you just need to get an eye exam.

Massapequa. The line looks long, especially if you get there before they open up in the AM, but it moves very quickly and you are divided up by the reason you need to be seen.
Both times I've had to go I was out in less than 30 minutes.

that's where I went last summer, about 11 am and was in and out in 20 minutes total.
If you don't need an eye exam (which I did), just renew online!

really this isnt too far from my job i was thinking of going for my lunch hour but i can take it early and if i am a little long i can make up for it.
So 11 or earlier should be good??

I was going to mention Massapequa, as well. I was there at opening time last week & even though the line looked huge, I was out in less than 45 min.

anywhere as long as you get there before they open to get your spot in line and have the paperwork ready

agreed, in the big H shopping center. i went for a name change, i was in and out within 15 minutes during lunch time!

I've gone to the Hauppauge one 2 or 3 times and was in and out in less than 40 mins.

I renewed my license there in May. Got there when they opened - I was out in 15 minutes!

I also agree with huntington. It takes me longer sometimes to drive there from my office 3 miles away then it does waiting there.
