Best Jarred Sauce?
Ugh, I know, I know, but I don't have any homemade sauce frozen, & don't have time tro make today, so what jarred tomato sauce do you recommend? Thanks!!!

I have only had jarred vodka sauce, Victoria brand and it was good. I am 99% sure that was it. It has a gold label.

I very rarely use jarred sauce but when need be used Bario Puttencessa sauce and Bario mushroom & garlic sauce.

Rao's, hands down. It's pricey (about $7 a jar) but it's REALLY good.

That vodka sauce is AWESOME
I use Rinaldi sauce and love it.

Yes, I like the Victoria Vodka sauce too- I spice it up myself too though- add some garlic and fresh herbs... sometimes I add mushrooms

I love Barilla Sauce the best. I mix a jar of marinara with a jar of campagnola.
Bertolli is gross, way too sweet, I just got that at BJs because they didn't have Barilla.

I usually buy Francesco Rinaldi Meat Sauce but my dh LOVES Ragu-lol!!! Once my kitchen is done, I want to start making my own sauce.

I usually buy crushed tomatoes chop some garlic and onion and sautee in butter. I add a little red pepper and then simmer it all together. Kinda homemade jarred!

Also, Bove's - it's from this awesome restaurant in Vermont - I buy it at Fairway.

I love the sauce from the pork store on middle country road in Centereach--both the meat and marinara sauce is delicious!!!! (It's made at the store.)Grab some of their pastas and you're good to go!!--
