Best jeans/pants for short toddlers
I can never find pants that fit my DS the right way. He has short legs but carries his weight in his belly. I usually do best with jeans that have an elastic waist band. I feel like he's always tripping over his pants! Any recommendations for a good brand to try? Or should I just get his pants hemmed?
ETA: Already tried Children's Place, Old Navy and Gap.

DS is on the small size and best jeans for him are the Cherokee brand at Target. I have tried everything else and these fit him best and look good on him too. They have nice straight leg dark ones. Plus, they're very reasonable.

Both Gymboree & carters have elastic waist pants. I buy them in a smaller size than my son would normally wear, so they end up being shorter & stretch on the waist. He was in 2T for almost 2 years.
