Best life vest?
DH and I are taking DD out for her first boat ride this weekend. DH bought her THIS LIFE VEST, but I'm not sure it's the right one. DD is almost 20 months old, but she's tiny - about 21-22 pounds and just over 30". She took mommy & me swim lessons this year, but I really don't think she's capable of turning herself over in the water if she needs to. The vest fits her, but something is telling me it's not the right one. What are your small toddlers wearing?

She needs an infant vest. This one is for 30-50 pounds, it won't fit right... The infant one will flip her upright if she falls in the water (god forbid)...

Best life vest?
I'd get a toddler one. We have had DS on the boat since he was 4 months. It looks something like this with the head float part.

For that size, you want an infant vest. They are for under 30lbs

We have the original one you bought for our 3 year old (30lbs) - it's actually small on him, but probably still too big for a 20 mos old.

Looks good. As long as it's USCG approved and the weight limits fit your dd it's good
