Best Mothers Day Gift Ever
I am so  right now. I just got back from DS Kindergarten Mothers Day Party. I have to brag a little.
The kids have been working on this party for weeks and it was so perfect. All the Moms were invited into the classroom where the kids were sitting holding flowers they made. They all sang a song together (Mother - M is for ...) then they went up to the front of the room one by one and read a poem that they each wrote for their Mom . I had to blink back the tears when DS was reading his. After the poetry readings we were treated to a nice breakfast. Before we left our children presented us with a gift they made ( I cant open it until Sunday ) a card they made and their poem. I am just amazed at how much they are doing in this class.
PS - Oh and for the EI speech delay moms about half the kids in this class get speech services but you would never have known it today. They did SO great!
