Best Nail Polish

For years I have been bitting my nails. It's a terrible habit and recently I got an infection on one of my nails from bitting. It was litterly purple and I had to get 6 shots to numb it and for the infection, right then and there I said I would stop bitting them. I haven't since last month but I occassionly still put my fingers in my mouth. I think if I have them look pretty I wouldn't do that either. I work full time in the city, I have 2 kids and a house to upkeep needless to say I have no time for the nail salon. What is the best polish that actually stay's on? I went to CVS and there are endless options. Do I get gel or is that bad for nails? This is all new to me, TIA.

If you want it to stay on for more than a few days, yes you will need gel or shellac from a salon.

All of the stuff you can buy- even the ones that say "Gel' or whatever, don't work for me.

For me, zoya lasts the longest- and that means it lasts like 2- 3 days before chipping rather than chipping off in 1 day like Essie or OPI does on me

LOVE Zoya, but I find Essie, OPI and Sally Hansen are really good too.
I used to be a nail biter too. Painful stuff. Sorry you got an infection.
