pure acetone.
i get at Harmon.
comes right off, soak with cotton ball.

I will only use Cutex and I have found all of their formulas to be okay, but I don't have the patience for non-acetone b/c there's more scrubbing involved. I have used Cutex from the bottles and the pre-soaked & I like them. I hated store brands.

If you put Vaseline on your fingertip around the nail it helps prevent the acetone from getting absorbed into your skin.
