Best Places to buy furniture?

I live in Eastern Nassau so Route 110 is easy accessible. We need a full house of furniture. Which places should be at the top of my list and which should I stay away from? We are at a moderate price range. TIA.

I just thought I'd say we bought our furniture primarily from Raymour & Flannigan and the Macys furniture store....

Most of our stuff from Raymour & Flannigan has held up figure about 5yrs now.... I say MOST, because our coffee table and two end tables in the living room which already look like they need to be replaced and its only been 5 years. Our couch and kitchen table/chairs,dining room table held up beautifully though!!

However.. our stuff from Macys, I'm sad to say, is CRAP and we paid good money for it too! We have our bedroom set from there. We've had random issues over the years.... but the most recent one is from two night ago. I lost a piece of jewelry that my dh was helping me look for. He moved the bed forward so we can look behind it. Well, the entire bed frame came apart!! My dh ended up fixing it but we realized one part is absolutely broken and the top left part of my bed is held up right now by a stack of books. The one good thing is we have a 7yr warranty so we wil hopefully be making good on that when we call the store. You would never tell by looking at it that it's not good quality... We were def fooled!
