the only discount you will find on this system if a seller that has a general coupon like dell. also sony is offering 150 instant money off if you are approved for sony credit card

She's not looking for a discount per se, she's looking for the best value on a bundle. Some retailers include more than others.

typically costco bundles a few things together to save a few bucks but not many bundles out there. A store would bundle something together.
most bundles you see online, your really not saving anything. you have to find out how much each item is to see how much your saving.

I need a blu-ray player and I am getting the PS3 for this since I hear it's one of the highest rated bluray players on the market. Will probably never use the gaming portion of the PS3.
Doing the Sony card for the free $150 off. Why the hell not? Its FREE money!

Well Blockbuster has a Ps3 bundle 80gig
it comes with a blue ray movie click, game is transformers, hdmi cable, remote and a 12 week rental card which is 1 rental movie or game for 12 weeks. it is 499.99...
that is a good deal.. I saw it in the Ronkonkoma blockbuster video

When I went on the sony site it said you can go into a store to apply for the credit card and buy the PS3 there too.
