Best prices for organic baby food
Who has the best prices on organic baby food? I don't care about the brand... Earth's Best, Ella Organics, Plum, doesn't matter. DH and I have horrible ADD and I haven't been able to be on my meds for well over a year with being pregnant and BF but the funny thing is that I have found that by eating foods without dyes, a lot of sugar, and preservatives it REALLY controls the problem. I also have a hormone issue that I thought could only be solved by taking birth control, but also by following the ADD diet has controlled those symptoms as well. So, I really really want DS to eat well so he doesn't have the same issues as DH and I and also because it's much better for him. The only thing is, is that we are on a tight tight budget and organics are expensive. This makes me so upset... what, because we don't have a lot of money we deserve to eat pesticides and have low grade food? That's just garbage...
Anyway, sorry for rambling.. it's the ADD lol. Who has a better deal on baby organics? Sometimes they have the Earth's Best at BRU 2 cases for $15. I also noticed that Walmart has the cheaper cereals than anyone I've seen so far. What about the pouches? Is there a good deal on them anywhere?

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
Gerber has a bunch of organic varieties adn I find that Target and Stop and Shop have the best prices. Target also sends coupons sometimes for baby products and there is always one for Gerber.

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
DS hasn't been in babyfood for a while and I didn't do organic but I did always notice that target and walmart had the best prices for babyfood. Also, check out amazon. I think gerber makes an organic babyfood now. Keep an eye out for sales in the supermarket.

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
Are you very opposed to making it? It will save you a ton of money!
I buy frozen organic veggies and fruits and just defrost then blend/chop/mush them, pour into ice cube trays, freeze, once frozen put into ziplocks and label.
Plum Organics is very expensive and I never see it on a real sale, but its my favorite brand.

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
I used to stock up at BRU when they had the EB 20 for $10 or the Gerber 10 for $10.

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
Walmart is definitely the cheapest all the time..Target is expensive unless it is on sale which is rare...I use to give DS EB and found that the best deals were either BRU when they were having a sale or Walmart...

Re: Best prices for organic baby food
i agree that making it yourself is the cheapest route! Since you are eating organic yourself, its very easy to put some aside and freeze for your LO. A little goes a long way when you are making yourself.
