My husband and I have a vacation house in the Pocono's so we go there to a place called Pocono Candle and they have the best smelling candles for a great price.

Re: Best Scented Candles?
The candles sold @ Bath and Body Works (ALL brands and prices) are ALL great. - They burn nicely, last a long time and smell AWESOME !! -
You DO have to keep the wicks cut very short though, or you'll end up w/ black ceilings ...........

If I want my home to smell like baked goods...I just bake them
this way I can smell AND eat them too. I am at how many people buy these...what are they...flavors or scents?

Yes, but candles are calorie free to smell

I, for one, am a horrible baker but love the smell of pumkin pies or christmas cookies.
I really love Yankee Candle Wedding Day... just a light powdery clean smell.
I'm also a big fan of any spicey smelling candles from Yankee Candle, Pumpkin Spice esp. Right now we have Red Apple Wreath burning in the kitchen (well, not right now since we're not home, but you know ).

this is true...and judging from recent pictures...perhaps it's something I should look in to.
I should say that I have an UBER sensitive nose and the scents that most of these candles have are too strong...and also smell "fake" to me.
I also HATE canned air freshner. I'd rather smell the sulphur of a freshly lit match

Re: Best Scented Candles?
I think the 2 best are Party Lite and Yankee Candle....
I love most of them...nothing too sweet though. I like the Christmas Tree/Pine, Pumpkin Spice, Linen, it depends onthe season.

Re: Best Scented Candles?
I love burning candles...I always have at least 2 or 3 burning throughout the place.
I like Yankee Candle - but like someone else posted, they aren't as great as they use to be - ESPECIALLY for the price. I bought a few christmas ones this year and agree in that the scent did not last for very long.
I stock up on glade scented candles. For the amount that I burn they are worth the $3+ each. Even better when I can get them on sale.
Scents I love Clean linen Angel whisper Fresh mountain morning Moonlit walk Rainshower Suddenly spring

Pacifica candles...you can find them online. They are soy so they burn clean. They all smell great and last a long time.
