Best sushi?
Looking for some fab sushi in nassau, south shore.
We go to an awsome place in Oceanside but are just looking for something new.

In Long Beach across from the post office - Himawari - amazing!!! This is the only place I will get sushi from.

Masago in Oceanside used to be excellent, but it has gone down hill.
They opened up a Ginza in oceanside and I was there last week, but the one in Massapequa is hands down way better.
IMO even though Ginza in Massapequa was rated number one in newsday. I believe Shiki in Babylon has the best sushi

i love Xaga Sushi in Merrick. also Tai Show in Massapequa is really good.

I haven't been there since before Sandy but I've wondered if they opened back up. DH and I used to live in LB in the building above and would go there every Friday night.
The owners were great and the food was wonderful.
I think it's time to take another trip back down there.
