Best type of dress for unproportioned body
Still on the search for my daughters sweet 16 dress for myself...I have tried on SO many....I have a wider bottom half and smaller waist up.Im all hips and butt which makes things very difficult shopping. First off I saw a dress that is like a bridal party dress, but cant tell if it looks bridemaidy. The second dress There was only one left in a 6 so I ordered it...but not sure how this brand runs....The black one does have a 8 available,I am usually a 4 in dresses(depending on brand) so ordered the 6 but it can be returned....would love some opinons...be honest please lol remember,im big hipped lol

If you're a size 4 I doubt your hips are a HUGE problem ! 
I like the black dress much better, I think it's different. BUT if you feel uncomfortable re: your hips and butt, those flutters of material WILL draw attention to that particular area .......
The other does look a bit bridesmaid ish ......but you can dress it up w/ shoes/jewlery etc - was that one in black too? I think black will be less bridesmaid y -

MY MIL wore a similar one to my wedding and she didn't look bridemaidsy.
Have you tried Nordstroms? My mom found an amazing one there for my wedding.

I like the other one better - this one looks MORE bridesmaid - y to me.
Try Nordstrom. They have a huge, gorgeous selection
