This is going to sound nuts BUT....I read this in a Home and Garden magazine and it worked for my couches.
Make a small mix of peroxide, water and lemon juice. More water than peroxide and a small amount of lemon juice.
My couches are off white and they are microfiber. Good Luck! HTH!!!

I'd spot test whatever you use, but oxyclean may help. It really depends on the material type as much as the color though (microfiber, chenille, cotton, leather, velvet, etc.)

try the magic eraser sometimes it lifts spots from fabrics, otherwise I wouls say (test 1st where it cant be seen) some oxy clean. After it is cleaned I'd suggest getting a can of scotch guard and spraying it well, its worth it for a white sofa

I have a white twill couch too - I take a Tide laundy detergent, dilute with water and then use a white washcloth wet and scrub away. It seems to work well so far. My couch is 3 years old and still looks new.
