Re: Best way to get the Daisy badges on the vest?
Most of them should be iron-on. If not, you can buy Badge Magic at the GS Store. It's basically strong double sided tape. It's a big sheet and you can cut it to the size you need.
I've been told that Michaels has their own brand of it too, but I've not seen it in the store.
If you do decide to sew (which actually is the best way), just make big stitches on the back side. Put a small stitch on the top, then about an inch to the side make another, and keep going around. You don't have to stitch every edge. Usually 4 or 5 stitches will work.
Hope that helps.

Badge Magic. It's amazing and the patches stay on through multiple washes.

We have them sewn. But a flat iron actually works really well

I've used the Badge magic, ,but they would sometimes fall off. I actually started trying the glue gun last year and it actually seemed to work pretty well. Plus it is really, really easy.

Honestly, I sew them. I've done badge magic, and they eventually fall off. Even the adhesive on the back of the ones that are "ready to iron on" from council still fall off. You could teach your child to sew them, and then earn the sewing badge for it!

I use the sticky badge paper for my boys Cub Scout badges. I have had no problem with them falling off. I use the one they sell at the Boy scout store.

But who would teach ME to sew?
