Better gift for DH---Navi system of Satellite radio?
Okay--well my DH has said a billion times how much he wants Sirius satellite radio--personally i don't get it. i think he just wants it cause my brother has it. i don't see him using it that much--but he says he would and has been saving money for one himself
Now also--he has mentioned many times how much he would love one of those navigational systems--and how he'd love it in his car.
Well black friday, best buy has a great sale on both of these things....a TomTom One or a Sirius sporster pkge with car kit---they are both 50% off that day.
What do you think is a better gift?
i'm considering just doing them both--but i'm not sure about it--cause that means less money for other ppl's gifts--but this is our first "married" xmas i want to do something special!
i can't make this decision!

Oooh, tough decision!!!
The radio can be used everyday, but doen'st have a huge purpose
The Navi system is only used once in a while, but is SOOO handy when you need it
BOTH are great gifts!

you can see my dilmena!! LOL
i could probably swing both--but i wanted to really take advantage of the sales for kids clothes and such for my nieces and nephews--so if i spend on both it means i can't spend as much for them. lol so HARD!

i have both, and I love both of them so much!! Surprise him on your first married christmas (if you can afford too) and get him both!!!

My DH has the satellite radio in his truck. Honestly, it's a waste. Yeah, it's good for when we go on long trips and don't get radio signals to stations we like. But other than that, he never uses it. It's common of men (and women I suppose too) to want something, use it for a while, and then forget about it. My DH wants a navi system this year. It's so much more practical. And I agree with you on saving the money for gifts for kiddies. But hey, if you can afford it, go for it. 50% means you're getting both for the price of one basically.
