Better late than never!!!
Our little man, Seth Jacob "SJ", was born 4/2 at 41 weeks and 1 day. SJ weighed in at 7lbs 12oz and 21inches long! (I'm petite so I was shocked how long he was!). We are so in love.
Labor and delivery went exactly how I least anticipated.
Scheduled induction followed by a c section after over 24 hours of labor. Progressed from 1.0 to 4cm within a few hours, received epi around 4cm, progressed to 6-7, then stuck at 6-7cm and -3 positioning for about 10 hours with intense pressure and tremendous back labor that the epi, additional anasthetics, and no amount of breathing could even begin to alleviate. Between the discomfort, general exhaustion, and lack of confidence that I'd progress further and he would drop and fit through my pelvis I decided to get a CS. My doctors and nurses were very supportive throughout the entire process. Not at all what I envisioned labor to be like but once I met our healthy smiley little guy all of that no longer mattered.
Recovery hasn't been bad, just a little soreness. But I'm up and about moving around better and better each day.
Most importantly, SJ is doing great. He's a very hungry and happy baby. Dad is doing great too :)

Congrats!!! I'm sorry you ended up with the csection after all that labor but I'm glad your little guy is happy and healthy!!! Hope you have a speedy recovery!!
